Water

The objective of this project was to find a way to represent the juxtaposition between the softness of water and the hardness of wood. I aimed to achieve a piece that is fluid in the way it responds to being held but you can still feel the solid qualities of the wood. Each wooden piece is shaped to be a still droplet of water commonly found on your car window after it has rained. The piece has been filed to a smooth finish and the edges have been rounded to create a softness to the final outcome.
